hey all,
i am pretty muhc new to DAQ especially the high tech stuff from NI. I wasted to hook up an omega PX209 pressure tranducer (http://www.omega.com/ppt/pptsc.asp?ref=PX209_PX219&Nav=preb04) to a NI USB 9219 to read pressure. I am quite confused about the connections. I know that the transducer requires an excitation voltyage of 24VDC and provides an out put of 0-20mA for a bpressure rating of 0-60psi gage. i do have an external power supply connected but am thoroughly confused about the connections to the DAQ.

Hello,
Please refer to page 7 of the USB-9219 user manual: http://digital.ni.com/manuals.nsf/websearch/BFB8BD4D304507CF86257323005E0277. You will have to connect the current output of the pressure transducer across terminals 3 and 5. You will have to provide the excitation voltage with your external power supply.
I hope this helps.
