optical experiments using labview

how can i use labview to do some optical signal processing experiments ?

Clearly, LabVIEW is software which runs on electronics-based computers, not optical equipment. So, the first issue is how do you expect the software to connect to the optical hardware?

All the other questions depend on the answer to the first one.
