I already try for your version.but currently, still same result..only the ch.2 didnt get the reading..I try figure out with different method..there any chance the problem from labview or the hardware it self?

it shows error -1073807339..source VISA read in readvalues.vi. regarding to SW2.I'm using the RS232. daq NI USB 6341

That error is due to a timeout.

 

I'm a little confused - it did the same as yours (no result for Ch2, but everything else fine) or it produced error -1073807339? Or both?

 

Regarding SW2 - there should be a series of switches on the hardware (the amplifier, not anything related to NI). Can you tell me their positions? For example, 1 up, 2 down, 3 down, 4 up... etc

both. when first time I try, its shows zero reading for ch.2. for the 2nd time I try its show the error..here I'm attach the configuration switches for your reference.and the SR530 manual.

Thanks for the reference - but I already read that! They reference hardware switches on the amplifier - I wanted to know which way they are toggled on your amplifier.

We're getting closer, but as it says in the manual that you linked earlier (emphasis mine):

 

There are two banks of 8 switches, SW1 and SW2, located on the rear panel. SW1 sets the GPIB address and SW2 sets the RS232 parameters.

 

Perhaps a photograph of the back (or just a description) of those switches (SW2 - we don't care about SW1).
