pin 41 1-source 6025E

Anyone knows what is the output current of pin 41 1-source of the NI-6025E DAQ card?

Look in the spec that is referenced in the first answer at http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=180923#M180923.

It says 3.5mA. I was under the impression that it was 13mA. Any comments?

Hi labview 1958,

Is there any paricular reason you are using a PFI line to source current?  Typically, you would want to configure a digital or analog output to serve this purpose, but maybe you can provide more detail on what you are trying to achieve overall.  Also, where did you see the 13 mA specification?  The 3.5 mA is correct if you are sourcing.  Let us know what you are tring to accomplish overall, and we might be able to provide better information for you.  Thanks!

I am using pin41-1_source to generate a TTL pulse which I feed into a TIP120. The output of TIP120 is connected to a dc motor. Thus by controlling the TTL pulse through a labVIEW program, I can contrl the speed of the dc motor. The duty cycle of the TTL signal can be changed throug a labVIEW program.I hope.

hi there

there are some examples shipped with LV on how to generate pulses with CTR with different duty cycles. go to "Hardware Input and Output/DAQmx/Genrating digital pulses" on the example finder.
