port parallele sous windows 2000 and port.vi?

its impossible toi use port.vi under windows 2000 !!
error into the port.vi 0x18d ....
is there an other vi to use the parallel port 0x378 379...

Hi,
you may try to use VISA functions to control parallel port. They are located in
"Functions->Instrument I/O->VISA" or
"Functions->Instrument I/O->Serial"

This is no longer true. I'm currently using the In port and Out port functions with W2K. See http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/niepd_web_display.display_epd4?p_guid=B45EACE3DEBD56A4E034080020E74861&p_node=DZ52058&p_submitted=&p_rank=&p_answer=&p_source=External, download and install AccessHW.
You must then use the functions that will be copied on your hard disk in accessHW_LVX.llb.
