printing a waveform chart

i am trying to print a waveform chart and it prints but it does not display the data on the printed copy of the graph?

The VI you are calling is going to print the front-panel, true.  I replaced the DAQ Assistant with a 'Simulate Signal' express VI and I see the graph update and when I print it shows data on the graph.

See the attached PDF I printed to file with PrimoPDF.

In your case you're seeing data on the 'graphs' tab and it does not show up in your printouts?  Very strange.  What version of LabVIEW?

Hi Harold,

What is physically coming out of the printer? Is it just black? Could it be the color settings on your printer? Could you try to save to a file, such as an excel or a pdf and see if it captures the data?

i have tried to fix the color settings of the graph and printer and the graph prints out black with no data on it.

Hi Harold,

What color are you trying to print in? Is that color available for your printer to print out for? Also what printer are you using to print with? Can I just verify that you are getting data on your graph in LV and you print out a graph, but it just does not have the data that you see in LabVIEW? Everything else is exactly the same?
