printing with labview

Hi,

I am running a small VI file and trying to print the file but it doesnt do anything. I try to see the error and it
displays as Class not registered in New Report.vi. I am connected to the network printer. If I run the same program from another computer also having the network printer connected, it prints fine from there. With the other computer I can print other documents like from word and excel but cannot print from labview. Suggest and help.

Thanks

There is a KnowledgeBase on our website entitled Error ?2147221164 Occurred at Class Not Registered in New Report.vi that looks like it might address your issue. Are you logged in as administrator? What LabVIEW or the run-time engine installed as administrator? What version of LabVIEW are you using? Is this the exact error you are getting? What else might be different in the setup of the two computers?

Hi,

I am not log in as an administrator so I try to follow the procedure registering in nireports.dll and tried again but still nothing. It didnt work. I am not sure why the same vi...prints in another computer and I don't what's in there, cause it was installed by some other person. I am using labview version 6. I have no idea about the runtime engine. Any other possible cause of error?

Thanks

I'm not sure what else it could be. When you registered nireports.dll did Windows give you a message saying it registered correctly? What version of Windows are you running? What else might be different between the computers that print fine and this one? You may want to try reinstalling LabVIEW. The real solution, however, would be to upgrade to the latest version of LabVIEW. Good luck!
