problem with install two DAQ in one PC and missing DAQ assistant

hello

i have two DAQ cards 6023E and 6024 and each of these cards has its own's DAQmx (DAQmx Vresion 8.7 for DAQ 6023E and Version 9.1.7 for DAQ 6024)

and i want instal both ofl these cards together  in one PC with LabView 8

after installing LabView and installing cards if i install drivers from DAQmx version 8.7 i dont miss DAQ assistant but in NATIONAL & MEASURMENT>>DEVICE AND INTERFACE i only have DAQ 6023E in traditional mode and i cant use DAQ assistant and must use traditional DAQ in labview also 6024 is unrecognized

if i install DAQmx ver. 9.1.7, in NATIONAL & MEASURMENT>>DEVICE AND INTERFACE i have both DAQ (not in traditional mode) but i lost DAQ assistant in LabView

what should i do?

Version 9.1.7 is not supported with your old version of LabVIEW. Version 8.7.1 says it supports both of your cards. Why did you install traditional DAQ. You can uninstall that, uninstall 9.1.7 and retry 8.7.1.

when i install DAQmx 8.7 and want to use DAQ assistant in LabView 8, after selecting analog input in DAQ assistant LabView ask me for Choosing Physical Device but there is no device in list and it is the reason i need traditional because when i use traditional DAQ in labview DAQ 6023E recognized but DAQ 6224 not work.

what is your Oponin about change Version of my LabView to 2011?

(before i said my DAQ is 6024 but i was wrong and my DAQ is 6224)

Hello Ashkan,

Please can you confirm you are using LabVIEW 8. Your cards should both work with this version so you just have to get the drivers right. Of course if you have access to LabVIEW 2011 I would highly recommend you use that for your application.

As Dennis has mentioned DAQmx supports both cards so you should not need to use Traditional DAQ. Did you completely remove version 9.1.7? Can you send a screenshot of the software you have installed in MAX>> Software.

i install LabVIEW 2009 and then install DAQmx 9.1.7 and the Problem Solved
