Hi mark6i,

I would be surprised if this problem hasn't been fixed in a newer version of LabVIEW.  Any possibility that you could upgrade?

If you can't upgrade LabVIEW, I've also seen instances where upgrading device drivers that are used in your program (such as NI-Serial, NI-4882, NI-VISA, etc.) can make this error go away.  If you are using any of these packages, I recommend you visit our Drivers and Updates page and see if any newer versions are available for download.

I just ran into the same problem. And in this case upgrading to a newer version of labview is not an option.
