problems with time scale of arb wave form

100µs_pict.PNG100µs_pict.PNGHello,

I created an arb waveform. Within Labview I can also change the time constant. However, on the hardware (USB-6361 with 10MHz DIO) I receive only 1ms impulses instead of 100µs impulses.

Currently I am working on a Labview Evaluation Licence. The  full labview licence is installed and available at the licence manager, however there are some problems. I am working on that. I mention this as this might also be the reason for my hardware problem.

I included the VI. The first two analog signals are for creating a certain reference and supply voltage. The sencond one is the digital output which should be 100µs instead of 1ms which I measure with the ocsilloscope.

Thanks.

Hi db2nc,

to create 100µs pulses you should use a dt of 0.0001! (Timebase is given in seconds…)

Best regards,

Hi,

I checked everything, I corrected the timescale, but I always get a 1ms impuls.

The hardware is NI-USB 6351 (it should have 10MHz DIO)?!

Currently, the evaluation version is runnig - although I have labview full licence - there seems to be another bug?!

Thanks.

Hi db2nc,

did you try to set timing to "use waveform" in the DAQmx part of your VI?

For the licensing you should call your NI support, I guess it's Munich in Germany: 089-7413130!

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi db2nc,

have you solved your issue? I saw in this forum a similar post by you which you claimed it has been solved.
