programmatically send text message to cell phone

I work at two sites, and my LabVIEW VI is often running unattended while I am at the other site.  It would be extremely helpful to enable the VI to text me if some specified parameters exceed limits.  Does anyone have experience with programmatically sending text messages from a LabVIEW VI to a cell phone?

Yes, before posting the question I searched using "programmatically send text message to cell phone" and got zero hits.  Thanks for your patience -- I appreciate any leads you may offer.

Yeah the posting search engine sucks:)  I usually search simple keywords or use google with the keyword labVIEW, this way LAVA hits come up too.

Using search engines can be an art. Using advanced search/containing all the words/ with cell text message brought up a bunch of relevant hits on the NI forums
