Hello all,
@ Alex, yes, those are the 12.4 compilation tools for LabVIEW 2011.
@manuvdp, I need some more information about the installation error to help you out. The information about the install issue you posted doesn't look like an error or anything I've seen before. What FPGA target are you trying to compile for? If it is a Virtex II, you will need the 10.1 compile tools. Check out this article to see if you need 10.1 instead of 12.4.

Dear TJ G,
Thank you kindly for your reply.
Indeed I read earlier that the type of FPGA does matter when compiling FPGA code.
I have a cRIO 9074 which has a Spartan 3, 2 Million Gate Xilinx FPGA inside, which according to the article on
http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/ed6fc9cf7b983cfd86256dce0072e313?OpenDocument
requires a 11.5 (which I presume will need to become 12.4 in LabVIEW 2011)...
Btw. Why the type FPGA matters when ''installing" xilinx 12.4 on the host computer and getting already an install error during the installation process("NI LabVIEW FPGA Xilinx 12.4 Tools - Part 12" up to "NI LabVIEW FPGA Xilinx 12.4 Tools - Part 19 Fails") is
unclear to me though....
Any clarification would help !
Btw. we' ll try to get the Labview DVD tomorrow and install from that one. In order to verify the hypothesis of
corrupt download files. I hope that does the trick, as we spent already quite some time trying to solve this problem...
Open for any suggestions for other stuff to try out !
Best regards !

Dear TJ G,
So, we got the installation files from an installation DVD.
We removed the old (wrongly) installed Xilinx 12.4 and reinstalled from the DVD and it worked out of the box !!!
The conclusion ?
Please check the Xilinx 12.4 files that you offer on your website for download as they might be corrupt !
We downloaded them twice ! And installed them twice with the reported problems !
This costed us about two working days (as we also tried a lot of other stuff to see whether that else
could be the problem)

Hello manuvdp,
I'm sorry to hear that this cost you so much time. I will uninstall, then download the tools myself and try to install. If it is a corruption issue, then I am surprised that none of the other commenters in this thread had the same issue, as there were a couple people looking for the download.

Hello manuvdp,
Just an update for you, I was able to install the 12.4 tools on my machine just fine by running setup.exe. How did you handle the .iso file? If you burned it to a disk, that may be the source of the corruption. I just used a Virtual Clone Drive (Slysoft Elaborate Bytes Freeware) to mount the disk image, and there were no errors.

The previous link to the Xilinx 12.4 tools download should work again. http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2592/lang/en

Nope just used setup.exe as well.
I am not sure why some of the installation worked well, then a few step not (12 to 19) and then ok from 20 onwards....

Hi Moonm,
Let's continue working on this issue in this forum. Dkfire is right, try reinstalling the FPGA module and be sure to include the Xilinx tools.
Best,
