"Unexpected licensing error"

Trying to install LabVIEW v8.2 on my laptop using a disc provided by the IT shop under my university's license.
LabVIEW will not initialise with pop-up message:
"An unexpected licensing error has occured. Please contact National Instruments Technical Support at ni.com/support to resolve this issue.".

License manager does not exist after install. Help files work, as does the Measurement & Automation Explorer.
Only things to appear in the start menu under National Instruments:

Data Socket >
LabVIEW 8.2 >
Variable Manager >
Measurement & Automation
NI Registration Wizard

Any ideas?

Hi there

This kind of licensing error it is probably due to a limit of some kind on your universtitys licence having expired or been reached.

My best recomendation to you you would be to phone 01635 523545 and explain that you have a licence issue.

this is the best way as to confirm your details I would need your serial number it is not best to post this online.
