Hi,
I am trying to get the frequency list from my HP8722A Network Analyzer (in order to use it later to put together a .s2p file. The 8722A doesn't handle that format because it's too old).
The way it behaves has me extremely confused right now.
If I run my program right after power up, it runs fine, I get the freq list as expected.
If I first recall a calibration state then run my program, the 8722A displays "WAITING FOR CLEAN SWEEP" and won't respond to anything else.
However, if after loading the Cal state, I manually send the same commands, one after another, I get the expected freq list.
As you can see from the attached VI, the commands are
'star 200 mhz;stop 38000 mhz;poin 401'
'outpliml'
I am very perplexed. Can anybody help me out?
