reduce the view of block diagram in order to organize it

Hello,

i don't know if it is possible but i want to reduce the view of the block diagram like in MS word (60% or 80%) in order to oragnize all the blocks...to align them,.....

How can i do this? Now, i can only see few blocks and my Vi is so big....

Thanks

Hmm, what i do is go to a higher resolution setting of the screen area in windows to view more block diagram area on the screen

I have not come across such a feature for reducing size of Block diagram in LabVIEW.

To keep the block diagram layout compact, i usually convert sections of block diagrams as sub VI's.

Hope this helps

Regards

Dev

Hii Larson,

Another thing you can do to compress your block diagram is, you can arrange it with the help of Navigation window, which gives you total idea of the vi and outlooking that you can arrange your whole block diagram, another thing is you also can maximize the navigation window, which gives you an outlook of your block diagram(but not clear Smiley Wink).

Thanks,

Nishant

Plus on your tool-bar, you will find two windows

  • align objects
  • distribute objects

Use these for making the alignment, arrrangement of your block diagram functions quicker and easier

In your block diagram/front panel, go to 'windows' in  menu-bar and select 'show navigation window'

Thanks, Dev

Thanks for explaining him about navigation window and i think that is the good solution witht the align and distribute objects, becoz of which he can mange his block diagram, and also can take the snapshot of it.

Thanks,

Nishant
