Did you mean:

reveal hidden block diagram items

I know that in LabVIEW 8.0, it is not possible to drag a loop or other structure over a block diagram item. Unfortuneately, in 6.1, it is possible to do this, and I suspect that I have several hidden items that are causing a lot of problems for me.

Unfortuneately, I do not have access to 8.0, so I was wondering: is there any way to turn on this feature in 6.1?

Hi Bob,
I suppose you mean the Auto Grow feature in LV8. It is possible to turn it off (in the Block Diagram- section of the Options-Dialog), then it's like in LV6.
To find hidden block diagram items you can use the Search- Dialog and if the hidden element is selected (you see only the selection but not the element) use the arrow keys to move it to a visible area. But with this method you have to know what is hidden.

For LV6.1, select Windows>Show Error List from the menubar  (or hit Ctrl-L).

Then click on the "Show Warnings" box.  You'll get warnings for hidden items.  Double-clicking the warning will show where the item is on the block diagram.
