rohde&schwarz CMU200

Hi,

i'm triyng to connect via GPIB-488.2 my rohde&schwarz CMU200 Universal Radio Communication Tester to my PC in order to collect some Bluetooth modulation graph analysis.

I've already installed the RSFSex intrument library that i found in the web site. But i need help to use that for establishing the link and retrieving the spectrum analysis.

Hi,

To use the functions of this instrument driver, go to the diagram functions palette, select I/O instrument, then "instrument drivers" and select the RSFSex.
Among the bunch of vi, you can open the diagram of these vi: "Getting Started App" and  the  different vi  of "Application Examples VIs"
You will find some examples which can be usefull for your application.

This way, you will have an idea of the vi you should use and where to find them.
Moreover you can know what each vi consist on and how to use it using the "contextual help window" selecting it in the Help menu.

Hi I have done a ATE for Bluetooth Pre-Qualification Tests using R&S CMU200 few years ago. At that time, CMU200 was still using engineering version of firmware ;), and was kept changing... Before anything could happen, you will need 2 sets of drivers: 1. for CMU200 Base 2. for CMU200 Bluetooth Take a look at the drivers Here Note: Beware of the Primary & Secondary addresses for the CMU200, setting them correctly is essential (at least at that time :p) Cheers! ian
