Hi,
I try to install RT OS on a desktop PC with Labview 2012.
I've created a USB Utility USB drive and plug this disk on my desktop PC, formated the disk and start with the option "2 Boot into safe mode". By this way I can acces to the Desktop PC and I've installed all the software.
When I remove the USB drive, my Desktop PC can't boot. I obtain the message "No operating system".
When I plug th USB drive, the Desktop PC will boot on it, and I can choose the option '1. Boot using software installed on the hard disk"
How can I do without the USB Drive?
Thanks for your responses

Hello NIcolas,
I'm not sure I understand what is exactly your problem. Have you seen the tutorials about how to do that?

Hello Marc-Junior,
You understand well what I want.
I've already seen the three tutorials you purpose.
I can install the RT OS on a target computer, but this computer doesn't boot without the Desktop PC utility USB Drive.
I eplain what I've done :
1 : I installed Labview 2012, Labview RT 2012 and all the software I needed on a development comptuter
2 : I created a Desktop PC utility USB Drive with MAX
3 : I booted on my target PC with the Desktop PC utility USB Drive
4 : I format the Hard disk with th option "reliance". I also tried with th option "FAT". When formating finished, I obtained th following message "Instalin system file c:\\safemode.exe"
5 : I removed the Desktop PC utility USB Drive, and I rebooted the target PC
6 : This computer can't boot without Desktop PC utility USB Drive. i obtain the folowing message : "Laoding LV RT (Reliance)... Read Error (rellba)
I tested the compatibility of the target computer with RT. All is OK.
How can I run the traget computer wihout the Desktop PC utility USB Drive?
Is my question clearer
Thanks for your response
Have a nice day

Hello all
I resolved my problem yesterday with NI support.
It became from my target desktop. This computer was in RAID1 (Mirorring).
I stooped the RAIS 1 in the bios ans retried the installation of th RT OS, formmated the hard disck and installed again the software.
Now all is Ok. The target desktop can boot without the utility USB Drive
