I added the screen shots to show this a little better. I'm going home defeated for the day 😞    That is also another concern is if I develop it this way then the executeable will have to stay on that server also. Right????  I am not sure if I try and use some sort of virtual instrument when developing that it is going to respond the same as the real instrument. DEFEATED

It appears that the test station has a third-party GPIB controller. Is this correct?

Then in that case I don't know if the VISA Remote will work. There are a few KB articles discussing using third-part controllers with Max, such as these:

https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000YHcyCAG&l=en-US

https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000YHh0CAG&l=en-US

but I don't know of how much help they will be. You may want to try updating to the latest version of VISA if you don't have it. I suspect though, that if you were to use a National Instruments GPIB interface you probably wouldn't have an issue.
