When you try to install the DAQmx driver, can you show us a screnshot of what you have selected? There are, as far as I can remember, multiple DAQmx options to select.
Here is the screen shot of MAX with software tree expanded. I also tried looking for a DAQmx shipping example in the help as per your previous post. I included a screen shot of the help.
