I was wondering is there anyone who as an example code of turning off a computer monitor or enabling a screen saver after some seconds or array of values have been collected, also is there any information regarding selecting multiple files? Any help or insights to this problem would be greatly appreciated.

The screen saver is just an exe, with some export functions. You can simply start the .scr from explorer. However, if you put the full path as a string in the "comman line" input of the "System Exec.vi", the configuration is started! So you have to start the exe (.scr) with the ShellExecute api. Download it here: http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=169615&requireLogin=False , or search ShellExecute.vi. Simply put the full path to the .scr as an input, and run the vi.
But if you have a screen saver installed, it will probably start over the manually started screen saver. Or perhaps not, you'll have to try it out.
