serial number during installation

Please I need help!
The software installation for my mydaq isn't accepting my serial number, it always saying "AA####### does not apply to any National Instruments products." I called mydaq costomer service number and they said the serial number is vaild. My computer is still not accepting it and I do not know what else to do.
