Mike's solution is very ellegant since it enables you to react to different keys very nicely;
BUT (as always there is a but
😉 ) there is maybe a simpler solution for you: key binding.
Just select in the property dialog of the button the key navigation tab and configure the return-key for your quitbutton as toggle (not focus!).
