Hello Excused me for my  bad english I'm french, I want to create a signal in the form of stair to load a battery via a generator of current. I wish to choose in face-front the duration and the amplitude of every march for example 2v during 30min for the first and 3v during 1h for the second. I work with a NIPCI 6289 and Labview 8.0. Sounds like you want to generate a Staircase voltage signal on an AO channel of your DAQ card

Right??

Just keep performing one point Generation on the desired channel and wait for the specified interval between each generation

Hi,

In order to see what you generate, you'll have to acquire on another channel the signal you've generated. I recommand you to use the basics acquisition exemples of LabVIEW.
