i want to develop simulated ecg waveform and show the ability of labview to analyze it

LV should work well with this.
You'll need either a sample waveform or create a "simulated" waveform.

As for the analysis part, you may want to work with someone with a medical background.

Attached is a VI I wrote a while ago, to find the peaks in a ECG signal (it includes a text file with samples of the ECG signal.)

You may also want to take a look at the tutorial VIs included with LabVIEW. Check the menu Tutorial in the function palette. Also, make sure you check the examples included with LabVIEW, especially those under Measurements.
