The down-converted version will be in a new folder. The original will be left unchanged, so make sure you attach the correct VI.

Hi again,
When i save it to lower version (ver 19). It doesn't save to another file. It doesn't show me any directory to save to. Also when i go to vi property to look for a version it was saved to, it does not exist., What am i doing wrong.

Hi,
I know exactly what you are saying. I am a labview learner but proficient in manipulating directories and files. After i save , a window comes up and asks me what version do i want. i select version 19.0 then save and gone no option of choosing directory. I wonder if anybody have used this option on mac.

By default (i.e. if you don't pick anything specific), it will create a folder next to the original VI. That folder will have the same name as the VI. It should be trivial to find the newest folder and recognize the name!
I would also very strongly recommend to use a more normal file name with a single period as extension delimiter (i.e. not "score app..vi").

Hi,
Finally it worked for version 18 but not ver 19 for some reason, I hope you can open it and help me on my real problem. Please no comment on the mess. I am looking forward to using vi i am not aware of.
Thanks
