I am experiencing a problem with the beep.vi.
I have a DAQ program, which acquired 7 signals and saved data in a file. When one signal is out of range, a visual and sound alarm occured. I am using the VI beep.vi to generate the sound. Everything is working well for the first 20 hours that I run the program but after that, the alarm sound does not go on while the visual alarm still shows that the alarm is on. The only way that I found to recover the sound is to reboot the computer.
I quiet don't understand why the sound stopped working after a while. could it be a windows problem ?
The system I am using :
- Operative System: Microsoft Windows 98
- Software: LabView version 6.1
- LabView data acquisition card: PCI-6071E
- BNC-2090 shielded BNC
adapter chassis
I would like to ask if anyone has experienced the same problem.
Any help on that will be really appreciated.
