Dear peter.go good afternoon,

I hope that you are doing great, can you please help me to understand what exactly do you want to control about the input?, because if it is related to the conditioning of the signal you can use our modules to acquire for example a voltage signal and define the input range and the signal is automatically conditioned, this is one of the advantages of our cards.

If you are just looking to select the input device (control the # of channels (mono or stereo), Resolution, duration and sample rate), you can use the Express VI Acquire Sound and there are some examples in Help > Find Examples > Search > Continuous Sound Input. This way you can use the adapters in your computer. You can find the Express VI at the block diagram pallete > Graphics and Sound > Sounds > Input > Acquire.

Thank you for contacting the forum support,

Best Regards,

Hi Peter,

Is it possible for you to send me the WaveExCtrl.dll? I've been searching on line and on my computer trying to find/get such an activeX control but haven't had any luck. I would like to be able to control the mic input volume/level programmatically in my test program that I'm working on. So your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much!

Spring
