sound problems

Hi

I am trying to use the soundcard within labview to make recordings at intervals that are started by a switch on the process. Previously I have done this in LV7.1. I have tried the same code in 8.5 and also just used the 'acquire sound' vi to do this. The problem I have found that after regular intervals the vi crashes and locks the PC up. This occurs on a number of computers.

Any ideas why this could be happening?

I hope you are doing well today! Is it possible for you to post your VI over here and tell us exactly what steps you are taking that leads to the crash? I tried creating a simple VI over here but wasn't able to replicate the issue you are facing.
