splitter bar : multi-panels but common background

Hello, I am discovering splitter bars which are great to give a functionnal structure to a front panel.

But I was wondering if it is possible to have a common background image for all the created panes (i.e : the "parent" container).

My goal is to set a kind of wallpaper in the front panel background as use panes to give the controls a sort of hierarchy.

So, as I cannot find a solution : is there a way to set a common background in multiple panel front panel?

As near as I can tell there does not seem to be a way to do this, short of copying the decoration to the other pane of the splitter. I also looked into the scripting methods but nothing jumped out at me. Perhaps NI can chime in on this.
