sting to number

hi, I need to transfer a string into the float number.

I use the decimal dtring to number but the default  vaule is 0 , the  thing is that i only can get the interger.

So what's the default vaule for float number in the vi?

Sound like you need to use "Fract/Exp String To Number", which returns a float.
