switch - connect 2 channels

This VI is what I think I need. I need to be able to switch between 2 channels and taking some measurements. I need switching because I intend to take measurement with a resistor connected and without without physically inserting and removing this resistor. My issue is I am right now using the virtual DAQ but I cannot run this VI I can find to the Configured Topology. Can I get some assistance with this? Thanks

What's wrong with just making a task with both channels.  Then you have both sets of data.  You can read multiple channels out.  Just use Index Array to get the channel data you want.
