Hello,
I have a TCP-2012 HMI and suddenly the screen got dark. When I took a closer look, I realized that it is acually working, it is just dark. It is even possible to see the icons and when you touch some of them it actually works. It is just too dark. Does that mean the HMI is damaged somehow? Or is it just a matter of setup?
Thanks in advance

Valter,
First, check if rebooting the device has any effect. I am not aware of any easy way of controlling the brightness of the touch panel, but you can try doing something like this: Programmatically Changing the Backlight, Contrast, Registry, Buzzer, Reboot of the TPC-2006 . I realize it's a different model of a touch panel, but it is still running Windows CE. If none of the above fix the issue, I'd contact your local NI rep or call support.
Cheers,

Misha,
Thank you for the feedback!
We have found the back lamb has burned. I am not sure but perhaps because the HMI stayed a long time without use.

Valter
