tds 520 communication error

I'm having problem with the TDS 520 oscilloscope. The program I wrote worked good until last Friday. All of a sudden, I start to get "1073807339" error from "Wait for RQS.VI" in "TKTDS Start-stop Acqui.VI". The instrument is not sending a "requist for service" signal to the computer.

I had the lastest driver and everything. The scope powerup tests are all OK. I tried to change the cable and GPIB address, nothing changes.

Can someone tell me what I should do to determine in more details what the problem is? Do I need to send the scope back to Tektronix for maintenence?

Hi redoo.
Unfortunately, I don´t have a tds520. My tek equipment is different.
So, I will try to help from my experience.
1.- Increase timeout time to give the scope plenty of time to calibrate.
2.- Check the programmers manual and send the command to activate RQS ( something similar to RQS ON)general and after calibration. In my teks, there is a command to avoid RQS from the equipment, if one want to use only polls.

Hope somebody will check your vi in a TDS.
