"Can anyone please suggest me a good Thesis topic for my masters in Electrical Engineering

I'm working part time as assistant to a professor in the electrical Engineering branch on LABVIEW DAQ and stuff

The Thesis should have to do something with power electronics or motor controllers and should take less than 5-7 month duration.

1) Variable speed motor controller with 99.999% efficiency.
Toss in words like "High efficiency electric car cleans up the environment with less pollution."

2) LabVIEW RT program to keep the power grid up when one area has a problem.
Use DAQ to isolate the problem and LV-RT to disconnect the offender within
0.1 seconds (or whatever those power guys can give).
(Key points: prevent massive blackouts, increase homeland security.)
