too slow to run a task

I have to wait for 5 minutes to run a task in VI logger. Even I deleted a lot of my old tests and reboot the PC. I seems normal once the task begins, but I dont like the long waiting.

May I ask a little more about your setup?

1.) What hardware are you working with?
2.) What version of the drivers and VI-Logger are you working with?

It would also be helpful to know the type of acquisition you are performing.  Is the task set to continuous or finite samples?  It is also very important for me to know what your "sampling rate" and "samples to read" is set to.  Are you using an external clock or external trigger of any kind?  Thank you in advance for your response.
