After installing and setting up the latest LVDIFF software, i get a couple of unwanted popup`s during comparison.
I open "show log" from Tortoise and then right click on the wanted file and select "compare with working copy".
The 1st pop up states, "The file C:\Documents and Settings\grant_cargill\Files\National" is not a valid LabVIEW file.  I dont have a file called files\national.

Then 2nd pop up states the same but with a different unknow file.  This time it is ........grant_cargill\Instruments\LabVIEW" is not a valid file.

Has anyone experienced this fault or know of a setting to get rid of it.  After the pop-ups are OK`ed, they clear and the comparison seems to work fine.  The file i was comparing is in my workspace.

Thanks,
Grant

Hi,

unfortunately LVDIFF and tortoise are both third party products so in terms of lvdiff you're going to need to talk to Mike Porter who I beleive designed some fixes for the it

http://sourceforge.net/projects/meta-diff

This next link is a thread Mike Porter was on about 6 months ago with documentation on using the scc, so may be of help :

http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=138937&requireLogin=False

There has been a tiny amount of discussion on the appropriate forums here : http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=93335 so I think it's active for you to post your question to lvdiff developers.

Please let me know if we can be of further help.

Thanks
