trouble moving file

I have a program that saves data to the local hard drive.  At the end of the test it is supposed to copy the file to the file server, and then move it to a local backup folder.  It is copying the files to the network OK, but it copies rather than moves the files to the local backup folder.  I am using the labview move object.  Is this a bug in Labview?  I'd rather not have to have my program go back and delete if possible.

I am using LV6.01 on this particular PC.  Sometimes it works correctly, sometimes not.

Hi Jim,

I tried this a few times in LabVIEW 6.0 but the Move VI always seemed to work correctly.  I have checked through some internal databases and I didn't find any reports of an error with the Move VI.  However, since this is such an old version of LabVIEW, it's possible that any error reports might already have been archived.

About what percentage of the time does the file get copied and not moved?  Have you replicated this with a very small VI that you could post here?
Thanks,
Megan B.
