troubleshoot: in build specifications the new application option is not there

Hi there, I have recently started working with labview 8.2, and when I finished with my .vi I wanted to make an .exe out of it, so I added it to a poject, saved the project, and unfortunately when I right-clicked build specifications there was no new application option. I downloaded run-time engine and it tells me that I allready have it so it is not that. somebody please help me, I'm desperate.

The app builder is not a standard part of Labview 8.2, if you only have the Base Version of LV 8.2 you are required to buy the Application Builder.

I have the full development version, that is why I dont know why I can't create the .exe

LabVIEW full does NOT include the application builder. You need to purchase the application builder seperately.

Only LabVIEW professional (and higher) includes the application builder.

(The runtime engine is needed to run a built application on a computer that does not have labVIEW installed)
