That would really depend on the sensor, what it is connected to, and how it's powered. LabVIEW has the ability to control hardware if the ability exists in the hardware itself.

Hi,

I am currently using MTS 310 sensor , i am using this sensor in various ways.
1. Sensor is connected to the gateway device (MIB 510). ( the sensor is powered by the powered received by the gateway
2. In the second case the sensor is connected in the field ( xmesh network) with more than 1 hop.( powered by a batterry mounted on a mote.

thanks

Sorry, I'm not at all familiar with wireless data acquisition. I thought you might be talking about sensors connected to an NI DAQ board.

Hey anilhk,

The LabVIEW driver for Crossbow wireless sensor networks does not have any functionality to turn off a particular sensor. There is no functionality to send any sort of command to any node, only to read data from a node.
