Hi amplifier,

I am just curious...  what do these have to do with LabView?

I am not sure if you'll be successful in this forum.

Hi,

Actually, I really need someone to help me. I don't know where to ask. I know that NI and labview people have extensive experience in RTS. If you know of any other forums where I could post my message I would be very greatful for your help.

Thanks a lot.

Hi amplifier,

You can look here:  http://forums.ni.com/ni/   and browse into the LabWindows CVI.

Actually, where I recommend you start a thread is in the Breakpoint forum (Under Special Interest Boards).

Since you are in Ottawa, I will ask the following:

1.  Are you a CO-OP student?

2.  What year are you in?

3.  Carleton or UofO?

Hi JoeLabView,

Thanks for your reply. To answer your questions,

1. I am not a CO-OP student.

2. I am in 4th year.

3. I go to UO.

Hi ampifier,

I spoke with COOP's and a recent graduate.  From what I hear, I now understand your dilema (will not go into details over a public forum).  You might ask the prof's if they have graduate students that they would recommend.   Unfortunately the COOP's have not yet taken those courses... and the recent graduate recommend buying lots of "Advils"  😉

As for courses that cover UML, it is unlikely to be discussed in the LV forum.  I will check the CVI forum, but it may be restricted to implementation issues rather than discussing the details of UML.  I have not touched UML in a long time... And from what I recall, it was dry reading.  You may be more lucky by browsing all of the most popular forums of this site for Real-Time Sw topics.  Also look at the hardware forum.

Sorry I could not find assistance for you.

JLV
