Dear,
When I try to activate my labview CE i get an error that the activation is failed due to an server error, this both in the software and the license manager.
does anyone know how to fix this ? I tried reinstalling labview ,both via installer and package manager , I also tried logging back in but with no sucsses.

This is a continuing problem that has no good solution IMO. NI needs to hear the frustration of users on this point. There is a technical solution to this, but its not something an end user should ever have to know about and do to get software to activate. NI claims that the CE version is free, but it wastes your time to make it work, so It's not really free.
In the past I have had success removing all NI software from the computer, creating a new NI login and starting the install / activation process from scratch.

Have you ever activated CE before or is this the first time?

Yes activated before , and now it suddenly worked.
The only thing I changed is that i used my wireless internet connection instead of my wired one, does that make a diffrence?

Good to hear! I will add that to my things to try when NI license manager flakes out, right there with flipping my computer upside down and using a PS/2 mouse. Just kidding, I have no idea why it didn't work over a wired connection, maybe NI can weigh in here ....
