unable to open session to "ASTRL4::INSTR"

when i used to communicate two systems using linux and labview as the simulation tool the visa software cant recognize the serial ports and its giving the error ASRL4::INSTR"

Hi rapeti,

This error is most often caused when another application or service is currently using the resource.  Make sure that no other application is currently running while trying to access this serial port just to make sure.  If this is not the cause, could you please provide more information such as the exact error code and your version of NI-VISA.
