unable to store a vi as a version 7.0 vi

I have a vi being used and developed in Labview 8.0. I want to save it so that it can be used with the 7.0 version. LV 8.0 only can go upto version 7.1. I need to save it for 7.0.

I have attached the vi in 8.0. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

You are correct,

LV can only save as the previous version, so for LV 8.0, you can only save down to LV7.1.

If you save as LV7.1, I'm sure someone should be able to convert to LV 7.0.  I could do it later tonite when I get home...

I tried to open your vi to convert to LV7.1, but it require many (?) other sub-vi(s).  You may have to convert to LV7.1 then post it. Or post in an llb (library) so that the conversion can be done.

I am posting the zipped folder which has the vi saved in version 7.1 along with the needed sub-vi's. I have also attached the text file which talks about the warnings I got.

thanks again!

I am trying to convert it to LV7.0

Unfortunately, it keeps insisting on this file:  Tktds5k_32.dll

There is a library called :Tktds5k.dll, but it does not like it... 😞

I am trying to convert now... I'll post the outcome..

Looks like it (kinda) worked.  It converted it to LV7.0 (I opened it with 7.0).

I was missing the library as stated in my previous post.  That explains the broken arrow (not executable).

Try it and let me know how it went.
