unknown error when using daq express vi's

Hi there i get unknown error when trying to use DAQ express VI's. I have downloaded and installed NI device drivers which was required to generate EXE since then this problem was occuring what should i do i have done all that was mentioned in the following thread

(http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=336246&query.id=2154746#M336246) but no use i am not able to figure out the problem can anyone help me.

Hi

 

Could you please give some more info regarding the problem you are seeing? Is it the same problem as in the other thread? If not, what is happening? Are you trying to build an executable? Also, if you could post the VI that's giving you trouble we could have a look.

its not about a particular VI its just that i am not able to access automation explorer n the DAQ express VI's its the same problem as mentioned in the previous post..........

Hi again

 

What versions of LabVIEW and DAQmx are you using? If possible try to upgrade DAQmx. Also which operating system are you using?

I am using Labview version of 8.5 and DAQ  8.7.1 my operating system is XP i will try to reinstall whole labview then i will let u know thank

Hi again

 

I think that you should try and update DAQmx first. It's a lot faster than reinstalling everything, but the choice is yours. Let me know how it goes.

hi david i have already updated my daqmx from 8.6 to 8.7.1 i dont know wht's going on i am not able to run MAX even as administrator that's y i hav decided to reinstall everything.........

Hi

 

Ok, if that is the situation and you've tried everything in the other thread. In the solution of this thread there's a zipfile posted that contains instructions and an application that can help you uninstall all NI software on a computer and start freesh.
