Hi Peter,
You're trying to download quite alot of updates at once. Usually when this happens, it could just be because the system is overloaded. You can try running only 2 or 3 updates at a time rather than selecting all of them and see how that goes. It tends to be a matter of a connection dropping out usually. Ensure you have a good connection to the internet and can access www.ni.com from it.
If that's unsuccessful, go to C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\Update Service\Installers to see whether the installers have downloaded. You can run the update (setup) executables from there if they have been downloaded.
Finally, if all else fails you can manually download the latest versions of the software by going to ni.com/drivers or ni.com/downloads.

Hi Peter,
I can see from your screenshot that your updates downloaded successfully and the failure occurs during installation. Update Service does not generally have problems downloading a large numbers of update, so I don't think you need to select fewer updates.
Update Service creates a suite installer and saves it in C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\Update Service\Installers\NI_date_time. Run the setup.exe found in that location, and enable logging. Instructions for running the installer with logging can be found here. If the installer fails for a specific product, note which product is causing the problem. Then we can troubleshoot from there.
