update version 8

Hi,

I know LV v.8 has not shipped yet, but isn't there a download available?  I've used M&AE to update, but it doesn't offer v.8.

latest I heard was that if you have SSP then possible to download version 8 last week in October

The CD's will be shipped towards end of November.

As of today (10-19-2005), you can download LabVIEW 8.0 from the following link:

NI LabVIEW Evaluation Software

Don't enter an activation code and you're good for a month in avaluation mode. You can activate at any time later.

johnsold:  As always, the Windows version comes out first.  I'm not sure if there's going to be evaluations for other operating systems, but I have been extremely impressed with my testing of LabVIEW 8 on Linux, as an FYI.   It'll be out sometime in the future, of course.
