usb hub serial problems

Thanks all,

    This has turned what had looked like an interesting, but not particularly challenging, project into a nightmare. I have had good luck with the EasySync adapters in the past, am not certain that they are the problem, per se, but as the NI ones will "carry more info with them" as far as ID'ing them if there are problems, that will be the way I have to go. As to an idea on how to handle possible glitches, well it is just a vague image at this point, will have to go into my code, which I can't do until later. Now I just have to get the customer to place an order.
