Did you mean:

use irig for waveform t0

I'm using a PXIe-8370 chassis with PXI-6682 card for timing.  My DAQ cards are PXI-6133, PXI-6251, and using a PXIe-8370 card connect to a SCXI-1001 chassis with SCXI-1102C cards.  I know I can reset the time in Windows using the kernal32.dll, but I would rather keep the timing of the PXIe chassis separate from the PC.

There is nothing on your pxi chassis that knows anything at all about the current date or time. How precise do you need the start time?

sending an IRIG signal to the PXI-6682 will give me the current time and date.  I want the the IRIG signal sent to the PXI-6682 to be the current time for the other DAQ cards.

As already mentioned, there is no place to send it to in your chassis.

Let me clariify. With NI-Sync, you can use the timing signal to synchronize all of board's timing. To get the date and time, you read your irig board and set the t0.
