Did you mean:

using GPIB-PCI ines 12.002 and labview

Have you resolved this problem?
I have the same problem with the same PCI Card.
In addition, WinXP recogize this card as an Ocean Optics Device!!
And I've never installed an Ocean Optics device on my PC!
I'm following the instrucions, but MAX can't communicate with the Board..
Any other ideas??

If you have one of these INES boards, your best bet is to ask the manufacturer. I'm not sure how much help you can get from an NI forum.

I asked for help from INES, and the problem solved.
It's very easy, you need the right Drivers for Windows, the INES software and  some other stuff.
Keep in mind that for LabVIEW versions later than 4 you must control your GPIB Instruments through Visa Functions insetead of GPIB Functions that LV contains.
There is an example (attached) code for Controlling GPIB through Visa Functions. It worked to my system.

Ok, Nasos
10 Mb for all files?
If so, can you make many files?
Ok for sending by email.

You can send the files in labview 7.1 (I have it now)

Hi there!

I basically have the same problem: My Ines 12.002 GPIB card doesn't work with LabView 7.1. I installed the drivers for the card correctly (the diagnostic utility gives reasonable results), but can't use it with LabView.

@ Nasos
I also asked for help from Ines but they told me something like "bad luck, try another computer, we are working on the problem, maybe there might be a solution by the end of the year". So I would like to ask what exactly they told you and what you did to solve the problem and what software (esp. "some other stuff" ;)) one needs and where to get it.

I have the current drivers: 6112-2025 but what else do I need?

TIA and best regards!

I can not find the non plug and play card option in my labview Max. Could  you offer me a guide of it? Or do you think there is something wrong with my Max. Thanks a lot
